We ship from main. Every change lands behind a flag and is off for everyone.
Flags flip on Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 Toronto. Nothing flips on a Friday, and nothing flips during launch week without Marcus.
If it isn't written in Fora, it did not happen: the release note is the source of truth, and it links the task it shipped.

The work graph
Everything knows what it's for.
A goal knows its projects. A project knows its tasks and its meetings. A meeting's action items are tasks. A post can point at any of them, and the link works in both directions. It's not a folder of documents. It's a map of the company.

The company graph
Reorg on Friday. Monday already knows.
In most tools the org chart is a picture: move someone, and nothing else notices. In Fora each team is a real place — its own feed, chat, board and room. Move a person on Friday and on Monday their feed, their chats and their goals have already followed. There's nothing to update, because there's no second copy of the company to keep true.

The office

We got fed up.
We ran our companies on the stack. The management courses, the books, the “best tool for the job” — we bought all of it. And the job of holding it together quietly became ours: chat in one place, the truth in another, decisions nowhere anyone could find them.
